What I believe is most important to keeping the on-shore technical eco-system alive are individuals that can perform translation from business to technical. These &quot;translators&quot;, when co-located with the client on-shore, bring to the table tremendous value: they can churn out new features when needed, and can help rationalize features by taking into account the big picture. Large consulting firms know this, and are quickly encouraging their people to shift away from technical specialization and into &quot;bridging&quot; roles.]]></description>
